Give in to your secret desire to master the element of fire and shape hot molten glass. Learn the ancient techniques of the greats such as Tiffany and Chihuly and create your own masterpieces while having fun and earning college credit. For 3.5 hours a week, this Level One class will explore the mechanics and techniques of blowing glass, focusing on basic shapes like spheres, cylinders, bowls, and bottles. Color applications, advanced techniques, and the history of the American glass movement will be also be explored. No experience required and open to students of all ages and fields of expertise.
