2019 Phillipsburg 32nd Annual Ole Towne Festival

It is officially summer and Phillipsburg is kicking off the season with its 32nd Annual Ole Town Festival celebration in the Shappell and Walters Parks in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This year’s festival, which initially began as a way to offer an opportunity for a variety of local non-profit organizations to make money in support of their cause, has grown into a summer tradition that simply cannot be missed. The 2019 festival will take place on Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd. Both days will be jam-packed with festival favorites and fresh entertainment for attendees of all ages.
Day 1 begins Friday, June 21st with a 6:00 PM kick-off event at Shappell Park featuring live music from the band Cunningham & Associates, a classic car cruise, community farmers market, free miniature train rides and more. The evening comes to a close at 9:00 PM.
Day 2 on Saturday, June 22nd from Noon to 10:00 PM, will offer extended hours at Walters Park with even more great entertainment for the family, more bands such as Bobby Clark Band, A Few Good Men, Large Flowerheads and Lucky 7, to satisfy all musical preferences. The activities will include amusement rides, tethered hot air balloon rides, pony rides and more. There will also be a hot dog eating contest, free caricatures by Hal, Balloons the Clown, RJ the Magician, kids craft canopy and so much more. The evening will end with our traditional fire works display.
