Watercolor Basics

6 Week Workshop — Saturdays, April 6th - May 11th, 2019

Join artist, Karla Beatty, and learn the basics of painting with watercolors. This class introduces essential watercolor materials, while instruction, demonstration, and practical exercises guide you through a variety of watercolor techniques. Build confidence as your painting skills grow!

This is a course for those who have never painted before as well as for those who want to find more control in their watercolor painting. Students will learn how to: lay out a palette and mix paints; use a variety of brushes, create flat and graded washes; develop tone and shading; use layering and details.

Class Session & Students
This workshop runs for 6 weeks: Saturday, April 6th - May 11th, 2019.
This class is open to students age 12 to adult and is limited to 10 students.
Class Fee & Materials
Workshop Fee: $185, excluding materials.
A materials list will be provided with registration.
