A celebration of culinary artistry and the world’s best wines, the annual New Jersey Wine & Food Festival at Crystal Springs Resort returns May 2nd – 4th with legendary Chef Francis Mallmann as Guest of Honor, hosting two wood-fired culinary events, three top chefs cooking an amazing dinner, a cocktail competition with top New Jersey bartenders, and more.

May 2nd Festivities

The year’s festival kicks off on Friday, May 2nd, with three (simultaneous) events: two special dinners (with a Champagne reception) and Cabaret & Cocktails, an evening of food, drinks, and live entertainment - plus a mixology competition with top New Jersey bartenders. Festival favorite dinner Top Chefs & Top Wines returns with a collaboration between Resort Executive Chef Aishling Stevens, the Restaurant Latour team, and three Top Chef cheftestants from Season 21 of Bravo TV’s hit show: runner-up Savannah Miller, quick-fire guru Soo Ahn (Adalina, Chicago), and Fan Favorite winner Michelle Wallace.

The Francis Mallmann Dinner showcases Mallmann’s signature open-flame cooking paired with wines from Bodegas Escorihuela Gascon, the oldest working winery in Mendoza, Argentina.

May 3rd Festivities

On Saturday May 3rd, Festival experiences include The Art of Honey showcasing Crystal Springs’ initiatives to provide habitats for declining bee populations; Bubbles & Brunch bringing together two favorites; Perfect Pairing: Italian Wines & Fossil Farms highlighting sustainably produced wine & foods; The Perfect Gin Cocktail with Hendrick’s with a new limited release gin tasting; Hats Off to Agave Spirits, an exploration of the world of agave; Legends of Winemaking: Larry Stone marks 10 years of Lingua Franca winery in Oregon with a tasting led by the Master Sommelier; and Rum & Chocolate pairing Brugal 1888 Rum with chocolates. 

Two exclusive wine tasting events include 90+ Wines and Secrets of the Sommeliers & Cellar Tasting, held at the resort’s Wine Cellar.

May 4th Festivities

On Saturday night, the Grand Tasting welcomes 30 restaurants and 200+ wines and spirits. The Biosphere After Party is the blowout event of the festival, letting guests, chefs, and winemakers dance the night away. Brunch on Sunday, May 4th, wraps up the festival.
